Perut Rumah, such a unique name for a restaurant which literally means ‘Stomach of the house’. It definated did attract my attention since I was staying at one of the hotels across the road.
The atmosphere of Perut Rumah is very relaxing with soft old Chinese songs in the background, it is tastefully decorated with collectibles, comfortable and friendly waitresses. All these gives the place an upmarket appeal.

My wife and I ordered Pie Tee, Curry Kapitan, Sambal Petai Udang, Sambal Terung, Nasi Kerabu annd Cincaru Sumbat. We didn’t quite like the Nasi Kerabu and we thought it has too much herbs but love the Cincaru with fantastic sambal stuffing.

The food was nice, it would have been nicer if they were more spicy. Maybe the chef noticed that my wife is a ‘Mat Salleh’, and he didn’t dare to  make it spicy. But I am sorry to say my ‘Mat Salleh’ wife eat more spicy than most Malaysian. But it was only about RM80. Definately give it a 4 Star.
