Char Koay Teow

Located at Pulau Tikus Market, off Burma Road, this Char Koay Teow stall operate only in the evening.
Sometimes during peak hours, you might even have to wait for 25 to 45 minutes. Some say he is very arrogance. But I don’t really think so. The second time I went there, he was very busy. He told me in a very nice way, “Can wait 45 minutes or not, velly solly ah!” Well! for a person who can say ‘velly solly’, I don’t think that is what you call arrogance.
The Koay Teow is definately worth waiting for, great ‘wok hei’ (fried on very high flame), with pork lards, prawns, squids and cockles. You can also choose between chicken egg (RM3.50) or duck egg (RM4.00).
Very high recommendation on my list.
